Experience
For more than a decade, I’ve worked across social impact, entrepreneurship, education, community development, and food. I’ve built programs and ventures, supported entrepreneurs, and developed partnerships. Most recently, I lead the relaunch of the culinary program, menu, and kitchen team at Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, New York City’s largest soup kitchen, helping rethink everything from daily operations and food quality to team structure, programming, and the role food can play in a broader social services model.
My work has also included building a government-partnered startup studio, supporting ventures at MaRS Discovery District and SVX US, and reshaping entrepreneurship programming at Williams College to make greater room for community changemakers. I founded and ran Bondhu, a culinary community space in the Berkshires centered on underrepresented food stories, and co-founded The Now Exchange, a nonprofit working on health education and access in rural Bangladesh. Most recently, I co-founded AncestralRebel, an Indigenous and Bengali American-led food and storytelling project that explores the connections between food, culture, land, and history through shared meals, classes, talks, and other forms of community gathering.
I’ve spent much of my career building things from scratch: programs, ventures, partnerships, teams, community spaces, and the systems that hold them together. I’m comfortable working across sectors and with complex problems that don’t come with an obvious playbook. I studied Geography at McGill University and earned a Master’s in Business for Social Impact from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
Let’s Talk
Consulting engagements can range from a focused strategy or program-design project to ongoing program management, organizational change work, or a fractional leadership role. Speaking engagements can include keynotes, panels, workshops, classroom visits, and facilitated conversations.
Fees are scoped based on the engagement, taking into account the scope of work, time commitment, preparation, travel, and the type and size of the organization. I work with nonprofits, educational institutions, social impact organizations, and mission-driven businesses, and I’m happy to discuss an approach that makes sense for your needs and budget.
