I am a Bangladeshi-American social entrepreneur, chef, and storyteller. I live and work in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, on the ancestral homelands of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians: people of the waters that are never still.

The waters are indeed restless. As the world shakes us constantly, I’m looking to sow and grow the seeds of care and liberation.

Through AncestralRebel, I co-create feasts with my friend and soul sister, Lucy Grignon. These feasts delve into the political, social, and personal histories we carry in our food, communities, and bodies. Our mission invites you to trace the thread between where we come from and who we're becoming.

Beyond the kitchen, I work in and alongside organizations building toward socially progressive change through education, community building, finance, and technology.

I've channeled this commitment into a few ventures close to my heart:

  • AncestralRebel (Co-Founder) - feasts across Turtle Island that honor woven culinary and human histories; in collaboration with Lucy Grignon, chef/educator of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians and the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin.

  • Bondhu (Founder) - a culinary community space that used culinary storytelling to honor underrepresented stories, cuisines, and people. From 2022 - 2025; led to the birth of AncestralRebel!

  • The Now Exchange (Co-Founder) - a non-profit fostering health access, choice, and education in Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh with a current focus on menstrual hygiene management (registered in Bangladesh, now under the leadership of collaborator Fariha Hossain).
